The Feast: Cows for Rural Women

In September 2013, again the women of NAZO bought 8 cows in calf to support 16 families

On the day the cows were distributed, the NAZO women had prepared a feast for all villagers

The ingredients were brought by the NAZO/ALS women: rice, bread, meat, fruits, and tea. It was cooked by the women of the village - and eaten by all villagers.

It is appointed by lot who receives the pregnant cow or who will get the calf straight away.
