…remains for one of the women, who is being supported by a sponsor from Germany so that she can complete her medical training as a nurse. While theoretical classes at the private university were still possible until December, the Taliban’s new decree prohibits further university attendance for women. Fortunately, the practical part of the training in the hospital can continue and so it is this last spark of hope that the young woman is clinging to for whom there is only a dark future under Taliban rule. We will continue to support needy women and their families and are looking forward to new sponsors.
