The political situation in the country is largely stable, at least in terms of unrest or assassinations, which are virtually non-existent under the Taliban. Whether the price of oppression is justified, however, is a question that is difficult to answer from afar.

What is certain is that the economic situation in the country remains disastrous. The next cold winter has begun and even in the capital the power supply is anything but stable. In order to guarantee our employees in Kabul a more reliable supply, we are planning to purchase and install a photovoltaic system including storage for the ALS building.

The cost estimate is available, now it is time to collect funds for the planned project. We diligently ask for your help and hope for numerous donations so that the ALS employees in Kabul can continue their important work for Afghanistan’s women and families.
