Our hardworking ALS staff on the site has already distributed 93 food packages to Afghan women in need. Among the first grateful recipients were mainly students and graduates of the ALS studios, the staff (at the moment credit balances of the organizations in the country are “frozen” and salaries cannot be paid) and other needy people who are also supported by ALS in other ways. 68 packages were distributed in Kabul itself, 25 packages went to Nejrab, where they were received by a very grateful and, in view of the great willingness to help, speechless population.

The official permission of the Taliban to distribute the food packages has also been obtained. Thus, nothing stands in the way of a second round of distribution, which is scheduled to start this week…
