The report from Kabul on the distribution of the money received from Germany is now available. It can be viewed on the Sponsorships page. The needy women and their families were able to collect the money from the ALS headquarters in Kabul if they were physically able to do so. Women who were unable to come in person were visited at home by ALS staff.

The needy women and their families are particularly precarious cases, usually one or more family members are seriously ill and the family’s income is not even enough to survive.

Our Afghan employees report the great gratitude and joy that the women concerned express to all donors. The money received has at least partially eased their suffering and given them new hope. The situation of the children in particular has improved considerably thanks to the financial support.
